Norway's first drone home delivery, launched to international media
Launch PR for a logistics startup
The challenge
In summer 2023, San Francisco Agency helped Norway-based Aviant announce the launch of their Kyte drone delivery service to the international media.
What we did
Targeting technology, startups, logistics and drone-industry media, we executed an English-language PR campaign. San Francisco created the press release together with the Aviant team, built media lists and media kit, key messaging assets, pitched to VIP journalists and ensured wide distribution of the press release.
What we achieved
The story was picked up by TechCrunch, and produced longer articles in prominent European startup media like Tech.eu and EU-Startups. It also generated a significant amount of traction in prominent logistics media like Air Cargo Next, Freight Week, as well as key drone industry media such as DroneDJ and DroneLife.
We launched Kyte, the first home delivery service by drone in Norway, and San Francisco Agency helped us generate a solid amount of international media attention to it. Having coverage in both general media outlets and more specialized industry media gives us visibility that will give help us grow Kyte, both at home and in new markets.
